Job summary

IT Search in Dublin 12 seeks a senior technology leader to define and deliver the group’s technology and digital strategy across Ireland and the UK. The role is onsite in Dublin 12 with some flexibility after establishment, reporting to the CFO and working with the executive team.

You will modernise core systems, enhance data capabilities, strengthen cybersecurity, governance and operational resilience while leading internal IT and external partners.

Qualifications

• Senior IT leadership experience (Head of IT / IT Director / CIO or equivalent).
• Experience with ERP, CRM, SAP or other large-scale systems.
• Track record delivering digital transformation and systems modernisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop group-wide technology and digital roadmap aligned with priorities.
• Advise exec on technology investment, risk, and lead IT function and partners.
• Oversee ERP, CRM, finance, inventory and reporting platforms.
• Drive systems modernisation and digital transformation across operations.
• Establish data analytics strategy, improving data quality and reporting.
• Own cybersecurity, data protection and GDPR/ISO compliance.

Job description

Head of Technology & Digital opportunity with an established distribution and services group based in Dublin 12. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with responsibility for defining and delivering the organisation's technology and digital strategy across Ireland and the UK. The role requires this person to be onsite in Dublin 12 with some flex once established

Reporting to the CFO and working closely with the executive team, this person will lead the modernisation of core systems, data and digital capabilities while strengthening cybersecurity, governance and operational resilience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a group-wide technology and digital roadmap aligned with business priorities.
• Advise the executive team on technology investment, risk and innovation, and lead the internal IT function and external partners.
• Oversee core ERP, CRM, finance, inventory and reporting platforms.
• Drive systems modernisation and digital transformation across sales, distribution, logistics, assembly and aftersales operations.
• Establish a practical data and analytics strategy, improving integration, data quality and business reporting.
• Own cybersecurity, data protection ensuring compliance with GDPR and ISO standards etc
• Manage technology vendors, budgets, contracts and investment decisions, ensuring value and measurable outcomes.

Experience

• Senior IT leadership experience as a Head of IT, IT Director, CIO or equivalent within a multi-site, operationally complex organisation.
• Strong experience with ERP, CRM, SAP or other large-scale operational systems.
• A track record of delivering digital transformation, systems modernisation and business process improvement.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, IT governance and operational resilience.
• Commercial judgement, including experience managing technology budgets, vendors and investment priorities.
• Ability to operate credibly at executive level while remaining practical and close to delivery.
• Experience in distribution, logistics, automotive, connected-vehicle ecosystems, manufacturing or retail would be a bonus.
