An established international manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced, commercially minded product leader with a background in manufacturing or industrial products to build and lead its international product management function. This is a newly created role with ambitious growth plans, playing a key role in shaping the organisation’s product strategy and driving future commercial success.

This role offers end-to-end ownership of a diverse, multi-brand product portfolio across multiple markets where you will shape portfolio strategy, drive profitable growth and establish a consistent, commercially focused approach to product management, innovation and investment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the international product portfolio strategy, including segmentation, brand positioning and portfolio optimisation.
• Own the product roadmap and establish a disciplined stage-gate process for new product development and introduction.
• Drive pricing strategy, competitive positioning, cost optimisation and margin improvement.
• Prioritise the product development pipeline, from market insight and business cases through to launch and lifecycle management.
• Establish consistent product management standards, governance and ways of working across international markets.
• Build and develop the product management function, partnering closely with commercial, marketing and wider business teams.

Experience

• Product management leadership experience within a technical, industrial or consumer products business.
• Proven track record in portfolio strategy, product roadmaps, new product development and lifecycle management.
• Strong commercial and analytical capabilities, including pricing, margin management and investment prioritisation.
• Experience managing multi-brand portfolios across international markets and channels.
• Ability to build a function, establish effective processes and influence stakeholders within a matrix organisation.
