Job summary

Barden | B Corp is seeking a Head of Operations to design and own the group’s operating model, systems, processes and controls. You will sit on the senior leadership team, collaborating with the CEO and finance leads, and lead the operational integration of acquisitions with a consistent methodology.

This hands-on role focuses on building infrastructure to enable growth, expanding service lines, and ensuring scalable operations as the business expands across Cork HQ and national footprint.

• Experience in a regulated, professional services environment.
• Ability to direct and guide the leadership team on best in class operations.
• Experience of M&A integration across systems, people, and process.
• Someone who builds and improves rather than maintains.
• Strong working knowledge of IT and ERP platforms, and of managing external partners.

Responsibilities

Barden has been retained growing professional services group on the appointment of a Head of Operations.

The group operates nationally with Cork as its HQ and is expanding steadily through acquisition. Given their growth and ambition our clients are keen to put the right infrastructure in place and to integrate acquired businesses consistently.

The role

This is an exciting time to join the business as it is poised to grow , increase headcount and service lines. This is a build role rather than a caretaker one. You'll design and own the group's operating model its systems, processes, and controls and shape it as the business grows. You'll sit on the senior leadership team, work closely with the CEO and the commercial and finance leads, leading the operational side of each acquisition, assisting the commercial arm with business insights and bringing new businesses into the group cleanly and to a consistent methodology.

It is hands-on at this stage of the group's growth, and carries genuine ownership of how the operation is built.
