Job summary

Sisk Group is seeking a Head of Procurement to lead and optimise procurement across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe. You will shape strategy, govern procurement processes and drive value across materials, products, and services for major construction projects.

You will lead the Purchasing teams in Ireland and the UK, manage high-value, long-lead materials, and build resilient supplier relationships, ensuring safety, quality and sustainability across the group.

Qualifications

• 15+ years' experience in construction with senior responsibility across supply chain, procurement and/or commercial functions.
• Deep understanding of construction materials and manufacturing supply chains.
• Strong knowledge of contract/commercial principles and cost management within a construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver a group procurement strategy for materials, products, and services.
• Lead procurement teams across Ireland, the UK, and Europe to deliver procurement support to projects.
• Drive supplier strategy, performance management and governance across in-scope categories.
• Embed sustainable and responsible procurement practices across the materials supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with group procurement policies and approval thresholds; partner with Legal and Finance for robust contracting.
