Job summary

Talbot Group is seeking a Head of HR Operations in Meath to lead recruitment and core people services across the Group, ensuring compliant, efficient HR operations that support colleague retention and ongoing workforce needs.

Reporting to the Director of People Operations & Engagement, the role balances strong compliance with commercial sustainability and excellent service delivery, while driving an enhanced employee experience and leading the HR Operations team through growth and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Senior HR operations experience in a complex or multi-site organisation.
• End-to-end HR operations leadership including recruitment.
• Proven ability to improve HR service delivery and employee experience.
• Experience leading teams through growth, change or organisation development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with a data-led approach.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to balance strategic priorities with operational delivery.
• Relevant HR qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver recruitment plans and targets, including talent pipelines and agency management.
• Collaborate on workforce planning, pipeline monitoring and analytics.
• Own end-to-end recruitment processes from vacancy approvals to offers and onboarding.
• Lead workforce compliance and pre-employment checks and audit-ready records.
• Standardise onboarding, induction, probation administration and lifecycle documentation.
• Maintain policy framework, SOPs and document controls with Employee Relations.
• Own HRIS administration, data quality and workforce dashboards.
• Lead the HR Operations team with clear service standards and escalation processes.
