Job summary

ACCPRO is seeking a Heads of Financial Planning and Wealth Management in Ireland to lead and grow the financial services division. The role includes defining growth, managing a multi-disciplinary team, and ensuring regulatory compliance with the Central Bank standards.

The ideal candidate will have a QFA qualification, CFP/RPA or equivalent advantageous, and substantial regulatory financial services experience. Availability at short notice is preferred.

Qualifications

• QFA qualification is required; CFP/RPA or equivalent advantageous.
• Significant experience in a regulated financial services environment.
• Experience leading and developing advisory or consulting teams.
• Strong commercial and business development experience.
• Experience with revenue, budgets or P&L responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of Irish regulatory environment and Central Bank requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set and deliver growth strategy for the division with revenue and profitability accountability.
• Lead and develop a team of financial planning, wealth and employee benefits professionals.
• Expand offering across pensions, investments, protection, retirement planning and corporate benefits.
• Identify opportunities to grow the business through existing corporate relationships and new client development.
• Manage key relationships with clients, insurers, pension providers and investment partners.
• Drive consistency in service, advice quality and operational standards.
• Ensure the division complies with Central Bank regulation and client protection standards.
• Collaborate with the CEO and leadership on Irish business development.

ACCPRO have partnered with a leading global insurance and business, to recruit a Head of Financial Planning and Wealth Management to lead and grow its financial services offering in Ireland. Responsibility for commercial growth, team leadership, client strategy and regulatory oversight across wealth management and employee benefits. Initial contract role with scope to go beyond. Ideal candidate will be available at short notice.

Responsibilities:

• Setting and delivering the growth strategy for the division, with responsibility for revenue and profitability.
• Leading and developing a team of financial planning, wealth and employee benefits professionals.
• Expanding the offering across pensions, investments, protection, retirement planning and corporate benefits.
• Identifying opportunities to grow the business through existing corporate relationships and new client development.
• Managing key relationships with clients, insurers, pension providers and investment partners.
• Driving consistency in service, advice quality and operational standards across the business.
• Ensuring the division operates to the highest standards of Central Bank regulation, governance and client protection.
• Working closely with the CEO and wider leadership team on the continued development of the Irish business.

Requirements:

• QFA qualification, with CFP/RPA or equivalent advantageous.
• Significant experience within a regulated financial services environment.
• Experience leading and developing advisory or consulting teams.
• Strong commercial and business development experience.
• Previous responsibility for revenue, budgets or P&L.
• Strong knowledge of the Irish regulatory environment and Central Bank requirements.
• The credibility to operate with senior clients, providers and executive stakeholders.
