Job summary

Fortis Recruitment in Ireland is seeking a Senior Wealth Manager / Financial Planner to join their private clients team, delivering tailored, compliant financial planning for high-net-worth and corporate clients. You will conduct reviews, design bespoke plans, and help clients optimise tax efficiency and long-term wealth.

The role is client-facing and requires a QFA qualification as a minimum; CFP, RPA or SIA are highly advantageous.

Qualifications

  • QFA qualification is a minimum requirement.
  • CFP/RPA/SIA are advantageous for the role.
  • 5+ years of wealth management or financial planning experience required.
  • Strong communication skills with high-net-worth clients essential.
  • Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail in financial advisory services.

Responsibilities

The Company

A growing, well-established wealth management firm with a strong presence in Dublin. As the business continues to expand, they're looking to appoint an experienced Senior Wealth Manager / Financial Planner to work closely with their private clients team, servicing a portfolio of high-net-worth and corporate clients with long-term, strategic financial advice.

This is a firm building for the next stage of its growth, and this hire is central to that plan.

The Job

A client-facing advisory role focused on delivering high-quality, personalised financial planning. You'll act as a trusted adviser, helping clients reduce costs, optimise tax efficiency, and build sustainable long-term wealth through well-structured, compliant advice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive financial reviews to fully understand client objectives, challenges, and priorities
  • Design and implement bespoke financial plans aligned to each client's short-, medium-, and long-term goals
  • Provide advice across a broad range of financial planning areas, tailored to individual client needs
  • Stay up to date with market trends, legislative changes, and economic developments impacting clients
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through clear communication and regular reviews
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a joined-up, holistic client experience
  • Ensure all advice and recommendations meet regulatory, compliance, and ethical standards
The Person

A client-centric, motivated adviser who enjoys building long-term relationships and helping clients achieve financial security and independence. Strong technical grounding and comfortable delivering fully tailored advice across:

  • Retirement and pensions
  • Estate and succession planning
  • Protection solutions
Requirements
  • QFA qualification as a minimum; CFP, RPA or SIA highly advantageous
  • 5+ years' experience in wealth management or financial planning
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with HNW clients
  • Strong analytical capability, with the confidence to simplify complex concepts for clients
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a varied client workload
  • A collaborative mindset and a genuine team-player attitude
