Job summary

Gallagher in Dublin, Ireland is seeking a Head of Financial Lines to lead and grow the division within a global insurance broker. You will guide strategic development, nurture client relationships, and drive excellence across a high-performing team.

You will ensure tailored insurance solutions meet client needs, regulatory requirements, and market opportunities, while upholding Gallagher’s integrity and client-first approach.

• Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering collaboration and excellence.

How You’ll Make An Impact

As the Head of Financial Lines, you’ll lead and develop our Financial Lines division, driving growth and delivering exceptional service to our clients. You’ll:

• Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow the Financial Lines portfolio, ensuring alignment with Gallagher’s overall business objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, insurers, and stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and industry expert.
• Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
• Oversee the design and delivery of tailored insurance solutions, ensuring they meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards, maintaining the highest levels of professionalism and integrity.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• You have extensive experience in Financial Lines insurance, with a proven track record of managing and growing a portfolio.
• You hold a CIP, ACII, or equivalent qualification, with a strong understanding of the Central Bank of Ireland’s Minimum Competency Code.
• You have a strategic mindset and the ability to develop and execute business plans that drive growth and profitability.
• You have experience leading and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on collaboration and professional development.
• You’re committed to delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships with clients.
• You have in-depth knowledge of Financial Lines products, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
