Job summary

Jobtailor in Ireland seeks a Digital Engineering leader to shape and deliver the BIM and digital delivery strategy. You will drive innovation in workflows, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and own the department's growth and client engagement.

You will influence bids and proposals, foster best-practice standards, and oversee collaboration across projects to ensure successful delivery and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong background in BIM, digital delivery, geospatial, civil engineering, or architecture.
• Deep technical understanding of digital construction and engineering workflows.
• Experience leading digital or technical teams and influencing multi-disciplinary stakeholders.
• Proven ability to coordinate innovation roadmaps, implement digital workflows, and champion best-practice standards.
• Commercial awareness with experience contributing to bids, proposals, or business development.

• Define and deliver the Digital Engineering strategy in partnership with senior leadership.
• Lead innovation in digital workflows, software, and emerging technologies.
• Own the department's financial performance and contribute to long-term business growth.

• Lead tendering, negotiation, and pricing strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing technical team.
• Drive continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence.
• Support recruitment, development, and talent strategy within the department.
• Promote best practice digital workflows across the business.
• Ensure quality, compliance, and safety standards are met and continuously improved.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery across all projects.
