Job summary

Donegal Golf Club, Murvagh, invites applications for the position of Head Greenkeeper. The successful candidate will lead all aspects of golf course maintenance, presentation and development at a premier links venue on the Wild Atlantic Way.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage agronomy, staff, machinery, irrigation and environmental compliance, while delivering high standards of presentation and playability for championships and events.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in golf course greenkeeping or management.
• Strong knowledge of links/turfgrass and sustainable turf practices.
• Experience leading a greenkeeping team and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver agronomic programmes for the championship course.
• Lead, motivate and develop the greenkeeping team.
• Oversee course maintenance, irrigation, machinery, and environmental management.
• Coordinate with management, agronomists and architects on course development.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and best practices.
