As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Barista to lead our coffee offering, inspire our team, and help create an unforgettable experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

The Role

As Head Barista, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of coffee preparation and service, maintaining the highest quality standards, and leading by example on the café floor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about speciality coffee, enjoys mentoring others, and wants to play a key role in a thriving hospitality business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the café's coffee operation to ensure exceptional quality and consistency.
  • Prepare and serve a range of speciality coffees and beverages to the highest standard.
  • Train, mentor, and support barista team members, ensuring excellent service delivery.
  • Maintain coffee equipment and oversee regular cleaning and maintenance schedules.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders for coffee beans, milk, syrups, and related supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with regular customers.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and day-to-day café operations where required.
  • Work closely with management to introduce new coffee offerings, seasonal specials, and improve customer experience.
  • Take ownership of the coffee experience, treating the café's coffee programme as if it were your own.
Key Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Senior Barista or Head Barista.
  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, extraction techniques, milk texturing, and latte art.
