Job summary

Noel Group is recruiting dedicated Health Care Assistants for relief staffing in the Kilkenny area, supporting the HSE nationwide. Roles involve direct care, supporting daily living activities, and maintaining patient dignity with empathy.

Requirements include QQI/FETAC Level 5 in Healthcare, BLS, moving & handling, and applicable visas or police clearances. Various shifts available, training provided, and collaboration with a trusted team.

Qualifications

• QQI/FETAC Level 5 qualification in a healthcare discipline is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience with moving and handling patients is required.
• Visa or GNIB clearance may be required.
• International Police Clearance if lived abroad for 6+ months.

Responsibilities

• Carry out direct care and activities of daily living.
• Maintain personal hygiene and dietary intake for patients.
• Deliver care empathetically while respecting patient dignity.
• Assist with patient mobility using appropriate equipment.

Noel Group is proud to announce our appointment as a Tier 2 supplier to the HSE, supporting healthcare facilities across Ireland. We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistants to join our growing team of relief staff working in the public healthcare sector in the Kilkenny area.

Responsibilities:

• To carry out assigned responsibilities involving direct care and all activities of daily living.
• To maintain standards of personal hygiene, dietary intake, physical and mental health.
• To ensure that care is carried out in an empathetic manner and that dignity is respected.
• To assist with patients mobility, using appropriate moving equipment when needed.
• To maintain the confidentiality of all information made available.

Requirements:

• QQI/FETAC Level 5 qualification in a Healthcare discipline
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Patient Moving & Handling
• Visa or GNIB (if applicable)
• International Police Clearance (if lived abroad 6+ months)

Salary & Benefits:
