Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing, Quality & Test Engineer to ensure rigorous testing and high-throughput production of our hardware systems. You will drive test automation, data analytics, and continuous improvement across the Voyager team.

You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality groups to diagnose issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement enhancements that improve reliability and efficiency. This role emphasizes hands-on testing and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 6 Qualification (NFQ Ireland) in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience working in a production or regulated manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with common communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, USB, and UART.
• Production Testing: Experience with the commissioning and troubleshooting of Production Test Fixtures.
• Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
• Preferred Experience: A strong background in electronic manufacturing/production is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of hardware products from design through to medium-volume production.
• Conduct routine service checks and perform preventative maintenance to keep electronics test systems functioning optimally.
• Work closely with operators, engineers, and inspectors to diagnose problems and provide clear progress updates.
• Partner with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to support customer returns and perform detailed root-cause failure analysis.
• Analyze test data, document results, and generate detailed reports to identify defects and highlight areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with design engineers to provide actionable feedback and recommendations for product enhancements based on test outcomes.
• Optimize testing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times without compromising product quality.
• Support initiatives to enhance production testing processes, fixture designs, and methodologies.
