Job summary

We are partnering with a Dublin-based software start-up to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer who will be hands-on and own the cloud environment. The role focuses on improving deployment processes, reliability and observability across a modern microservices stack, with a hybrid setup (3 days on-site in Dublin City Centre).

Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps engineer with strong cloud experience.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience working with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and observability.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve cloud infrastructure across AWS and/or Azure.
• Work with Kubernetes and containerised applications.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Support microservices-based applications in production.
• Improve reliability, scalability and operational performance.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues.
• Support monitoring, logging and observability.
• Work with software engineers to improve deployment and release processes.
• Use Infrastructure as Code to manage cloud environments.
• Contribute to incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
