Job summary

Gong is seeking a hands‑on and strategic DevOps Engineering Manager to lead the Dublin DevOps function. You’ll start by managing a small team focused on DevOps tasks across products owned by Dublin teams.

You’ll design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS) and drive CI/CD, monitoring, and security practices. You’ll partner with global teams to ensure high performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Requires 8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Eng; at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record building and operating scalable cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Deep knowledge of IaC and GitOps methodologies (Crossplane, Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, CircleCI).

Responsibilities

• Hire, lead, and mentor a high‑impact Dublin DevOps team.
• Oversee design, deployment, and improvement of secured, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Drive best practices for CI/CD and monitoring; promote reliability and security.
• Automate and streamline operations to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Collaborate with R&D, Security, and IT to ensure secure, scalable systems.
