Job summary
Mitie Ireland is seeking an experienced Assistant Facilities Manager with hands-on plumbing and maintenance skills to join our on-site team in Dublin. You will manage planned and reactive maintenance, coordinate the works, ensure safety and compliance, and support site operations to maintain high-quality facilities.
The ideal candidate has strong plumbing capability, works well in a multi-skilled team, and can prioritise tasks and respond quickly to issues.
Qualifications
- Strong plumbing skills with fault-finding experience.
- Background in maintenance or building services.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented and able to work with clients.
- Self-motivated with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on plumbing support within a multi-skilled team.
- Manage planned and reactive maintenance, focusing on plumbing systems.
- Ensure site safety procedures and compliance.
- Complete service reports and remedial work.
- Participate in out-of-hours on-call rota.
