Mitie Ireland is seeking a hands-on maintenance plumber as part of a multi-skilled team. The role focuses on fault-finding, repairs and maintenance of plumbing systems, with responsibilities spanning planned and reactive work.

You will ensure compliance with safety procedures and contribute to timely service closures and KPI targets. The ideal candidate has a background in building services, demonstrates initiative, and can work well with clients and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Essential: strong plumbing skills with fault-finding and repair experience.
• Background in building services or maintenance preferred.
• Able to work in a multi-skilled team and on own initiative.

Responsabilidades

• Provide hands-on plumbing support as a core requirement of the role.
• Manage, carry out and coordinate planned and reactive maintenance.
• Ensure safety procedures, risk assessments and COSHH compliance.
• Close service jobs promptly and keep reports up to date.
• Meet monthly KPI targets for PPM and Helpdesk.
• Support other site staff where applicable.
• Join an out-of-hours on-call rota as required.

Key responsibilities:

Provide hands-on plumbing support as a core requirement of the role, while working effectively within a multi-skilled team.

Manage, carry out and coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, with particular responsibility for plumbing systems, fault-finding and repairs.

• Ensure upkeep of all site safety procedures and compliance (permitting, risk assessments, method statements, SDS, COSHH etc.)
• Ensure job closures are completed in timely manner.
• Ensure that monthly targets for KPI's for PPM and Helpdesk are met.
• Ensure all service reports are reviewed and remedial work captured and organised.
• Where applicable provide hands on support for other site staff.
• Undertake works as directed.
• Report accidents in a timely manner.
• Ensure HSQE standards are maintained and promote best practice and site-specific core values.
• Ensure company operating procedure is adhered to.
• Report any unsafe activities / risks promptly to the Site Manager and HSQE Manager
• Working schedule includes being part of an out of hours on-call rota.

About You:

Proven capability of working within a multi-skilled team in a hands-on environment.

Have a background in maintenance or Building Services.

Essential: strong, demonstrable plumbing skills, including practical experience in fault-finding, repairs and maintenance of plumbing systems.

Approachable team player, able to work on own initiative and with colleagues and clients alike.

Ability to maintain high levels of self-motivation, technical innovation, enthusiasm, attention to detail and commitment while working in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to prioritise jobs.

Ability to multi-task

Methodical / analytical approach to work

Good problem solving and trouble shooting ability.

Work flexible hours depending on requirements.
