Job summary

Archer Recruitment seeks an experienced Principal .NET Team Lead to stay hands-on while building and leading a Dublin engineering team from the ground up. You’ll lead design and development of scalable .NET/C# solutions and own key systems from design through deployment.

You’ll mentor 5 engineers with plans to grow, collaborate with senior stakeholders on technical strategy and platform evolution, and shape product direction while remaining actively involved in coding.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience with .NET/C# and the .NET stack.
• 3+ years in a Team Lead / Engineering Management role.
• Strong SQL experience with PostgreSQL or MS SQL and AWS hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable .NET/C# solutions.
• Manage and mentor a team of 5 engineers, supporting their growth.
• Take ownership of key systems from design through deployment.
• Work with senior stakeholders on technical strategy and platform evolution.
• Help grow and shape the new Dublin engineering function.
