Job summary

STRIVE Search represents a growing Irish technology business in the telecommunications space seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to own the day-to-day finance function and provide direct support to the executive team.

Based in Wicklow, the role covers AP/AR, invoicing, VAT, month-end processes and the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports, with frequent interaction with external accountants and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a Finance Manager, Bookkeeper or Accounting role.
• Hands-on experience across AP and AR, with Xero.
• Strong understanding of bank reconciliations, VAT and month-end processes.
• Commercially minded, with an understanding of costs, margins and financial performance.
• Comfortable working independently, taking ownership and communicating directly with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day finance function across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Oversee invoicing, collections, supplier payments, reconciliations and cash flow.
• Complete month-end processes and prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage VAT and other statutory returns, working closely with external accountants where required.
• Provide financial insight, variance analysis and commentary to support executive decision-making.
