Job summary

Photon seeks an experienced AI Forward Deployment Engineer to design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI/ML solutions in collaboration with customers and internal teams. This role requires a strong mix of software engineering, AI/ML implementation, cloud-native development, and ability to translate business requirements into scalable AI applications.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, architecting solutions while coding, with production deployment experience and ongoing optimization of AI/ML

Qualifications

6+ years designing and developing AI/ML applications.
Strong Python production-grade coding skills.
Expertise in software architecture and system design.
Spends 50-70% time coding and implementing solutions.
End-to-end AI/ML experience: data prep, model integration, deployment.
Experience with Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
Ability to design scalable AI systems using APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
Strong data engineering with Pandas and NumPy.
Experience deploying AI workloads on Azure or AWS.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI/ML applications.
Translate designs and requirements into production-grade implementations.
Build AI capabilities into enterprise apps via APIs and modern frameworks.
Develop scalable AI systems with microservices and cloud-native tech.
Hands-on implementation across the AI/ML lifecycle: data prep, model integration, deployment.
Work with structured and unstructured data to build AI-driven solutions.
Design and optimize AI workloads on Azure or AWS.
Apply software engineering practices including version control, CI/CD, monitoring and testing.
Collaborate with customers and teams to prototype, deploy, and improve AI solutions.
Act as technical owner ensuring reliability and operational readiness.
