Responsibilities

• Facilitate guest requests in Accommodation and Room Service.
• Carry out maintenance in rooms when required.
• Assist with luggage intake for guests and tours.
• Follow Brand Standards for Food & Beverage service and greet guests warmly.
• Ensure cleanliness levels are maintained in all hotel areas, including outdoor areas.
• Assist with deliveries for Accommodation and Food & Beverage departments.

Flannery's Hotel Galway are currently recruiting for a Hall Porter. Potential candidates must be available to work full-time. This is predominately a Monday - Friday role although flexibility around weekends will be required from time to time. This role will have a starting date in September.

Job Description:

To facilitate guest requests in the Accommodation, & room service departments

To carry out maintenance in rooms when required.

To assist with the luggage intake for individual guests as well as tours.

To follow agreed Brand Standards for service of Food & Beverage

To serve all our guests in a friendly, efficient and professional manner

To ensure cleanliness levels are maintained to a high standard in all areas of the hotel including the out-door areas

To assist with deliveries for the accommodation and Food & Beverage departments

To greet all guests in a warm and friendly and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times

The ideal candidate must have a professional and friendly approach and must be focused on providing excellent customer service. They must be a team player and have the ability to multi task. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail as well as good communication and time keeping skills. A good level of spoken English is required. Previous experience is an advantage.
