Grand Hotel Malahide in Malahide, Co. Dublin, is seeking a full-time Day Porter to join our team. The role focuses on delivering a warm welcome, assisting guests with luggage, and maintaining a spotless lobby and public areas throughout the day.

You will work as part of a friendly hotel team, providing excellent guest service and supporting other departments to ensure a smooth, enjoyable stay for all guests.

Qualifications

• Friendly, welcoming attitude and professional manner.

Day Porter – 4* Grand Hotel, Malahide

We are looking for a full-time Day Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a porter within a hotel environment.

As a Day Porter, you will play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming experience for our guests from the moment they arrive. You will be one of the first members of our team they meet, so a friendly attitude, professional manner and excellent customer service skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner.
• Assist guests with their luggage on arrival and departure, including delivering luggage to guest bedrooms.
• Assist guests with any requests and provide helpful information about the hotel and its facilities.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming lobby and public areas throughout the day.
• Assist with moving luggage, deliveries and other items around the hotel when required.
• Support the Food & Beverage team by helping to clear and tidy tables during busy periods.
• Assist other hotel departments where required to ensure the smooth running of the hotel.
• Maintain a high standard of presentation and ensure guests receive excellent service at all times.
• Follow all hotel health, safety and security procedures.
