The Metropole Hotel Cork is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our bar and restaurant team in Cork. We welcome both part-time and full-time applicants who enjoy guest-facing roles, thrive in a buzzing hotel environment and work well within a tight-knit team.

Responsibilities

• Report for duty on time and in uniform.
• Assist in tidiness and cleanliness of the working area and rest of the room.
• Set tables to required lay-up and ensure stations are stocked.
• Take orders, handle billing and end-of-shift cash up.
• Serve food and beverages in restaurant, bar, meeting rooms or banqueting areas as required.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene regulations and health & safety guidelines.
• Communicate services and facilities to guests and handle complaints professionally.
