Job summary

The Lodge at Ashford Castle in Cong, Mayo, Ireland, is seeking a Reception Supervisor to lead the Front Office team and ensure service excellence in line with The Red Carnation Hotel Collection standards.

This full-time role involves overseeing reservations, guest arrivals and departures, and maintaining front office systems, with a focus on creating memorable experiences for guests while upholding brand standards.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a similar role.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a team focus.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Legally eligible to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of Front of House systems and procedures, ensuring consistent implementation while on duty.
• Train, lead and motivate the team to deliver service in line with hotel standards.
• Supervise Front Office operations in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
• Support the reception team in delivering efficient, friendly arrivals and departures in accordance with hotel standards.
• Assist the reservations team with reservation processing as required.
• Operate and maintain the computerised reservations and front office systems, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
• Deliver exceptional guest care at all times, anticipating guest needs and proactively exceeding expectations where possible.
