Job summary

RBK Chartered Accountants seeks a Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy and performance across Ireland and the UK. This role partners with the Managing Director to guide growth, ensure robust controls, and drive value creation in a scaling business.

Responsibilities cover strategic planning, M&A evaluation, funding strategies, financial reporting, governance, and building a high-performing finance team. You will interact with the Board and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven CFO-level experience in a multi-entity business across Ireland and the UK.
• Strong financial planning, reporting, and governance capabilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to build high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the Group’s strategic plan with the MD.
• Lead acquisition evaluation, due diligence, structuring, and integration (M&A).
• Provide financial insight for organic growth, pricing, and investments.
• Oversee funding strategy, banking relationships, and capital structure.
• Build and maintain robust controls, governance, and reporting across jurisdictions.
