Job summary

Carton House, a Fairmont-managed hotel in Ireland, is seeking a Groups, Conference and Events Sales Executive to join its Sales & Marketing team at Carton House in Maynooth. This role focuses on liaising with clients, coordinating conferences, meetings and private events, and delivering outstanding service.

Experience in a similar hotel environment, strong negotiation and contract skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Groups, Conference and Events sales is preferred.
• 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and contract management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to oversee development, coordination and delivery of conferences, meetings and private events.
• Produce detailed function sheets and coordinate with operations to exceed client expectations.
• Communicate, maintain and develop new and existing client relationships.
• Manage operational and administrative tasks to deliver projects efficiently.
• Ensure excellent customer service and quality of service at all times.
• Collaborate with the sales team and assist senior management in promoting hotel goals.
• Ensure fluid communication of all events to all hotel departments.
• Promote upsell opportunities and cross-sell F&B outlets where appropriate.
