Job summary

Carton House in Maynooth, Co. Kildare, Ireland, is seeking a Groups, Conference and Events Sales Executive to join our Sales & Marketing team.

You will liaise with clients to oversee development, coordination and delivery of conferences, meetings and private events, and produce function sheets to support seamless execution. Ideal candidates have 1-2 years in a similar role, strong communication and contract management skills, and a structured, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Have real understanding of hotel operations and Conference and Events.
• 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Strong communication, negotiation and contract management skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to oversee development, coordination and delivery of conferences, meetings and private events.
• Produce detailed function sheets for each event and collaborate with operations to exceed client expectations.
• Communicate, maintain and develop new and existing client relationships.
• Manage operational and administrative functions to deliver projects efficiently.
• Ensure excellent customer service and quality of service at all times.
• Work as part of the sales team and assist senior management in promoting hotel goals.
• Ensure fluid communication of all events to all hotel departments.
• Promote cross-sell of F&B outlets as appropriate.
