This role oversees treasury activities across multiple units, banking relationships and currencies, ensuring robust controls and effective liquidity management in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of treasury operations across a diverse group structure with strong controls
• Lead and develop the treasury team, ensuring reconciliations and reporting are accurate and timely
• Manage complex cash flows and high-volume transactions with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain funding levels and manage liquidity across multiple currencies
• Monitor short-term investments and foreign exchange exposures
• Identify opportunities to enhance treasury processes through automation and improvement initiatives
• Maintain governance framework and adherence to treasury policies
• Act as liaison with banking partners, auditors and service providers
• Collaborate with finance and operations to optimise cash management and treasury performance metrics
• Produce regular treasury reporting and provide insight for decision-making
• Assist on treasury-related projects and provide analytical support
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
• Lead, mentor and develop the treasury team with accountability and continuous improvement

The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining strong controls, ensuring effective liquidity management and supporting ongoing process improvement initiatives. The Role:

• Take ownership of treasury operations across a diverse group structure, ensuring robust controls and effective management of banking arrangements.
• Lead and develop the treasury team, ensuring reconciliations and reporting activities are completed accurately and on time.
• Manage complex cash flows and high-volume transactions, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure appropriate funding levels are maintained and support the effective management of liquidity across multiple currencies.
• Monitor short-term investments and foreign exchange exposures.
• Identify opportunities to enhance treasury processes through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a strong governance framework and ensure adherence to treasury policies and procedures.
• Act as a key contact for banking partners, auditors and external service providers.

The Person:

• Previous experience in a senior treasury or treasury management role.
• Background operating within a high-volume and fast-moving environment.
• Strong understanding of treasury operations, liquidity management and banking structures.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
• Strong analytical capabilities and excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong systems aptitude.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
