Job summary

Barden | B Corp is seeking a Treasury Manager to lead the technology agenda for the treasury function, owning the Treasury Management System and shaping governance and controls across a FTSE-listed group.

In this role, you will drive system enhancements, automation and process efficiencies while partnering with Finance, Technology and external providers to deliver transformation initiatives and robust risk management.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of treasury management systems, including configuration, interfaces and upgrades.
• Experience delivering treasury technology, systems or transformation projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across finance, technology and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the treasury technology agenda and own the Treasury Management System and related enhancements.
• Develop and maintain a robust treasury controls framework with strong governance and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee Treasury governance, policies, reporting and alignment with Group Finance and FTSE-listed requirements.
• Partner with Treasury, Finance, Technology and external providers to drive transformation and continuous improvement.
• Act as SME, promoting best practice and a culture of operational excellence.

An exciting opportunity has been newly created for a treasury professional to join the group treasury function of a major international group as Treasury Manager – Technology, Governance & Controls.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced treasury professional to take ownership of the systems, governance and controls that underpin a best-in-class treasury function within a FTSE-listed business.

You'll lead the treasury technology agenda, with responsibility for the treasury management system while driving the ongoing development of Treasury's governance and control framework.

Working across Finance and the wider business, you'll ensure robust processes, strong controls and effective governance are embedded to support the Group's evolving treasury operations.

About the position

• Lead the treasury technology agenda, taking ownership of the Treasury Management System and driving system enhancements, automation and process efficiencies.
• Develop and maintain a robust treasury controls framework, ensuring strong governance, regulatory compliance and effective risk management.
• Oversee Treasury governance, including policies, reporting, governance forums and alignment with wider Group Finance and FTSE-listed requirements.
• Partner with Treasury, Finance, Technology and external providers to support transformation initiatives and drive continuous improvement across the function.
• Act as a trusted subject matter expert, promoting best practice, strong stakeholder relationships and a culture of operational excellence.

About the person

• Strong working knowledge of treasury management systems, including configuration, interfaces and upgrades.
• Sound understanding of treasury processes, controls and governance within a large or listed organisation.
• Experience of delivering treasury technology, systems or transformation projects.
• Analytical, detail-focused and methodical, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across finance, technology and external partners.
• Proactive and well organised, able to balance business-as-usual with project and change activity.
