Job summary

Aviva in Ireland is seeking a Group Protection Proposition Consultant to shape customer propositions and drive growth across teams. You will identify market opportunities, enhance existing propositions and develop innovative solutions that deliver real value to customers and the business.

You will take ideas from concept through implementation, ensuring governance and regulatory compliance while delivering good customer outcomes.

As a Group Protection Proposition Consultant, you'll play a key role in identifying market opportunities, enhancing existing propositions, and developing innovative solutions that drive growth and improve customer experiences. Working closely with colleagues across Product, Marketing, Distribution, Innovation and Customer teams, you'll help ensure our propositions remain relevant, competitive and aligned to customer needs.

You'll be responsible for taking ideas from concept through to implementation, supporting successful delivery while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, governance standards and our commitment to delivering good customer outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead the development and enhancement of customer propositions, identifying opportunities to improve customer experience, grow market share and support business growth.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement new products and proposition improvements from concept through to launch.
• Analyse customer needs, market trends and competitor activity to define product requirements, features and value propositions.
• Develop product positioning and support marketing activity to ensure clear and compelling customer messaging.
• Support the delivery of good customer outcomes while ensuring compliance with governance, regulatory and risk management requirements.

Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience within Group Protection, with a strong understanding of proposition development, product management, customer experience, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to identify customer needs, analyse market trends and competitor activity, and translate insights into commercially viable proposition and product solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience collaborating across multiple business functions and working effectively with brokers, employers and customer representatives.
• Good understanding of the Group Protection market, including Compulsory, Voluntary and Multi-National Pooling propositions, and the differing requirements of each sector.
• Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, drive initiatives forward and provide guidance and support to colleagues.

The expected pay range for this role will fall between €60,000 and €65,000 and salary offered will be commensurate with the candidate's level of skills and experience.
