Job summary

Depaul is offering a ThisSupport Worker-Graduate Programme designed to grow your professional skills while making a difference in the lives of service users. You will join a multi-disciplinary team and operate within a harm-reduction framework, supporting residents with daily living, finances, and personal development.

The programme runs on a seven-day rota, with opportunities to report to the team and participate in graduate events and yearly presentations. A driving licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Qualification in the Social Care field.
• Understanding homelessness and the supports needed for service users with complex needs.
• Strong communication and computer literacy required.
• Knowledge of Depaul vision, mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Encourage and support service users to develop skills in managing their daily living.
• Work with residents and the team to maintain a clean, safe, hygienic living environment.
• Encourage service users to take responsibility for their own environment.
• Attend key worker sessions with service users as required.
• Assist residents with personal monies and service charge payments where necessary.
• Carry out project administration tasks (petty cash, statistics, invoices, records).
• Ensure Health and Safety standards per policies and safety statement.
• Participate in team meetings and staff days.
• Engage in ongoing graduate programmes and events.
