Job summary

Arup in Ireland is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join its Dublin network and support experienced engineers. You will perform structural analysis, assist in designing elements across concrete, steel, timber or masonry, and help prepare drawings and reports.

You’ll engage with clients and project teams, participate in site visits, and contribute to a collaborative, outcomes-focused culture as you complete your degree requirements and begin your professional journey.

Qualifications

• Pursuing aBachelors or Masters in Structural Engineering (NFQ 8/9).
• No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role.
• Full working rights in Ireland; recent graduation before employment starts.

Responsibilities

• Undertake structural analysis using GSA, Tekla Structural Designer, or other software.
• Complete the design of elements in reinforced concrete, steel, timber, or masonry.
• Prepare mark-ups and drawings using Revit or AutoCAD with structural technicians.
• Represent Arup at meetings with clients, other consultants or contractors.
• Conduct site visits and structural investigations.
• Prepare reports, presentations and site reports.
