Job summary

Arup in Ireland invites graduates to join our Roads & Streets team as a Graduate Roads & Streets Engineer. You’ll help plan, design and deliver safe, sustainable transport solutions across Ireland and beyond, working with multidisciplinary teams on road, active travel and public transport projects.

We seek curious, motivated graduates with a degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering and a passion for sustainable mobility.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate/bachelor's degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering or related field.
• Interest in sustainable mobility and urban transport.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of technical designs, drawings, reports and specs.
• Support design of road alignments, streetscapes and drainage.
• Contribute to transport design standards and guidance development.
• Ensure designs comply with legislation, standards and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects.
• Support project delivery with emphasis on health, safety and technical excellence.
