Boston Scientific Ireland is launching a 23‑month Graduate Process Development Engineer programme in Clonmel. This onsite role offers hands‑on experience in testing and process development for implantable medical devices within a collaborative team.

You will learn from experienced colleagues, contribute to quality improvements and help prepare technical documentation to support regulatory submissions while developing your career in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Honours Bachelor Degree (Level 8) in electrical or electronic engineering.
• Recent graduate or in final year, eligible to work in Ireland.
• Knowledge of electronics and strong problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with LabVIEW or programming in C/C++ is desirable.
• Awareness of medical device validation processes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations for implantable medical devices as part of Test Engineering.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to identify improvements.
• Perform device failure analysis to identify root causes at component level.
• Assist software developers to improve applications and systems for yields.
• Document technical analyses and support regulatory submissions through change controls.
