Job summary

Ascension Executive Recruitment seeks a field-based service engineer for medical device equipment. You will install, commission, service and repair devices, and train customers at their sites across assigned regions.

The role requires a technical background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with strong troubleshooting, communication and customer-service skills. A full clean driver’s license is essential as travel is required.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills are essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are needed to manage customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide complete product support on medical device equipment, including installation and commissioning.
• Carry out preventative maintenance, repair and customer training.
• Liaise with customer support administration regularly.
• Provide engineers reports and all relevant documentation to customer support for processing and invoicing.
• Proactively manage customer relations and ensure customer satisfaction.
