Job summary

RECRUITERS is hiring a Graduate Analytical Laboratory Analyst in Tipperary. The role targets recent Chemistry or Science graduates seeking hands-on experience in a regulated pharmaceutical laboratory.

You will perform analytical testing, contribute to quality control, and gain exposure to GMP-compliant processes and data management in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• A degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline is required or expected.
• Strong interest in analytical chemistry and pharmaceutical laboratory operations.
• Basic knowledge of GMP and data integrity is beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are essential.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities are important.

Responsibilities

• Carry out analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, drug substances and finished products.
• Ensure laboratory activities comply with cGMP, safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records using electronic systems.
• Assist with analytical investigations, including OOS results and quality notifications.
• Support review of analytical data and batch documentation.
• Assist with process changes, technology transfers and non-routine testing activities.
• Identify and report laboratory or analytical issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and laboratory projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the lab and wider business.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Analytical Laboratory Analyst to join a pharmaceutical laboratory team in Tipperary.This role would suit a recent Chemistry or Science graduate looking to kick-start their career within the pharmaceutical industry and gain valuable hands-on laboratory experience.Working as part of an established laboratory team, you will gain exposure to analytical testing, laboratory operations and quality control within a regulated cGMP environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, drug substances and finished products in line with approved methods and procedures.
• Ensure laboratory activities are completed in accordance with cGMP, safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation using electronic systems.
• Assist with analytical investigations, including Out of Specification (OOS) results and quality notifications.
• Support the review of analytical data and batch documentation.
• Assist with process changes, technology transfers and non-routine testing activities.
• Identify and report laboratory or analytical issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and laboratory projects.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the laboratory and wider business.

Skills & Experience

• A degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.

• Previous laboratory experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
