Job summary

RECRUITERS invites applications for a Graduate Analytical Laboratory Analyst in Tipperary. The role suits a recent Chemistry or Science graduate seeking to begin a career in the pharmaceutical industry and gain hands-on lab experience.

You will work as part of an established lab team, performing analytical testing, handling laboratory operations and ensuring quality within a regulated cGMP environment. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• A degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• Interest in analytical chemistry and pharmaceutical lab operations.
• Previous lab experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of GMP and data integrity is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carry out analytical testing of materials and finished products per approved methods.
• Ensure activities comply with cGMP, safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and electronic documentation.
• Assist with analytical investigations and quality notifications.
• Support review of analytical data and batch documentation.
• Assist with process changes, tech transfers and non-routine testing.
• Identify and report laboratory or analytical issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the laboratory and wider business.
