Job summary

Circet is hiring a Graduate C# Developer to join our team in Clondalkin, Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science (graduating 2025/2026) and knowledge of the .Net stack, as well as strong coding and communication skills.

Job description

We are hiring! Circet Ireland & UK are on the search for a Graduate C# Developer. The preferred candidate would be an innovative thinker, with strong coding skills, good grasp of AI tools and great communications skills to expand our growing team servicing our clients as the leading providers to the telecommunications, transport infrastructure and power sectors across Ireland and the UK. This is a 12 month fixed term contract and will join our Graduate Programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will be required to work within our development team to service several of our existing and new clients to ensure all technical requirements are fully understood and delivered to meet the agreed deadlines and to the highest standards using toolsets such as Claris Filemaker, and C#.
  • The role will require you to call upon your Business Analysis and Solution Design experience to enable you to interpret business requirements into a set of innovative and clearly defined IT solutions.
  • You will programme, debug, and document complex software applications.
  • You will work with manager & teammates to build accurate estimates for assigned business support & project support development tasks, delivering reliable, reusable & supportable software on time and on-budget.
  • You will serve as a subject matter expert for the application supported, with deep understanding of integration with the technical infrastructure.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
  • Be familiar with DevOps methodology and work within the Scrum team throughout our Agile deliveries.
  • Be familiar with the use of AI tools, ideally have a background in AI technologies – data modelling and the use of data for process improvement.
  • Assist in the upskilling of other team members as needed.
Experience Required
  • Degree and preferably post-graduate qualification in computer science or equivalent qualification (graduated 2025 or 2026).
  • Experience with software architecture styles and patterns, design patterns, development best practices.
  • 1 year .Net development stack experience (ASP.Net Web Api, ASP .NET Core, C# desirable).
  • Permission to work full time in Ireland – permit/visa will need to be in place before interviewing.
  • Strong all‑round web development skills, HTML/CSS/JS.
  • Significant knowledge of SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of DevOps version control software.
  • Knowledge of Claris Filemaker would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of AI tooling, and data modelling would be an advantage.
