Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Façade Engineer in Ireland to join our Early Careers Programme. You will work with architects, engineers and specialist consultants to develop façade solutions from concept through construction, balancing aesthetics, performance and sustainability.

You will gain experience in façade design, performance analysis, digital innovation and site delivery while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on challenging projects in a global advisory and design practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Level 8+) or master's in progress in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design.
• Strong sketching and visual communication skills.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD or SketchUp and related design tools.
• Interest in sustainable building design and low-carbon solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of façade systems that meet architectural and performance requirements.
• Carry out engineering calculations and technical documentation for façade designs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders on façade-related solutions.
• Develop and apply digital tools to improve design efficiency and sustainability outcomes.
• Review technical submissions and undertake site inspections during construction.
