Job summary

Designer Group is seeking Graduate Electrical Engineers to join our growing teams, with multiple positions available for immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity for recent Electrical Engineering graduates to build a career with a leading international M&E contractor, gaining hands-on experience on live projects.

You will work on electrical building services across commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, data centre, residential, energy and infrastructure environments, with a mix of

Qualifications

• Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Electrical/Building Services/Energy Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong interest in electrical building services, M&E contracting and construction project delivery.
• Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from engineers and project leaders.
• Proactive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working in both office and site-based environments.
• Available to start immediately or at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of electrical services from early planning through to installation and commissioning.
• Assist with technical reviews, drawings, specifications, submittals and project documentation.
• Work with engineers, supervisors and site teams to support safe, efficient delivery.
• Support quality, safety and compliance across electrical works.
• Assist with progress tracking, reporting and materials coordination.
• Develop knowledge of M&E contracting, construction sequencing and client expectations.
• Build technical understanding of electrical systems and project delivery.
• Participate in training, mentoring and continuous professional development.
