Designer Group is seeking Graduate Mechanical Engineers to join our growing teams, with multiple positions available for immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity for recent Mechanical Engineering graduates who want to build a career with a leading international mechanical and electrical contractor.

You will gain hands-on experience across live projects, working alongside experienced engineers, project teams and site leadership.

Qualifications

• Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong interest in mechanical building services, M&E contracting and construction project delivery.
• Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team and take direction from engineers and project leaders.
• Proactive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working in office and site environments.

Responsibilities

• Supporting project teams with delivery of mechanical services from planning through installation and commissioning.
• Assisting with technical reviews, drawings, specifications, submittals and project documentation.
• Working with engineers, supervisors and site teams to support safe and efficient project delivery.
• Supporting quality, safety and compliance across mechanical works.
• Assisting with progress tracking, reporting and materials coordination.
• Developing practical knowledge of M&E contracting, construction sequencing and client expectations.
• Building technical understanding of mechanical systems and site coordination.
• Participating in training, mentoring and professional development.
