Job summary

Macdonald & Company in Dublin is seeking a Graduate Project Manager to support major construction and real estate development projects from feasibility to handover. You will learn directly from senior PMs and directors in a supportive environment designed to accelerate your career.

The role combines office-based planning with site exposure, stakeholder liaison, and contract administration. A recent honours degree in a built-environment discipline is preferred, with strong communication and drive

Qualifications

• A recent honours degree (Level 8 or higher) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or Project Management.
• Master’s degree would be a distinct advantage.
• Experience or exposure in built-environment disciplines is valued.
• Internship or placement with a main contractor, consultancy, or developer is valued but not strictly required.

Responsibilities

• Assist PMs and seniors PMs in tracking project milestones, managing project schedules, and compiling critical progress reports
• Help maintain clear communication and collaboration between clients, design teams, main contractors, and public bodies
• Support cost control, procurement, contract administration, and value engineering processes
• Attend site meetings and design workshops, gaining a deep understanding of day-to-day site dynamics and engineering challenges
• Gain exposure acting on behalf of clients under various standard forms of contract (including Employer’s Representative roles)
