Bristol Myers Squibb in Ireland is seeking a permanent Specialist, Reliability Technician – GMP Maintenance (Days) to uphold GMP manufacturing equipment and systems. This hands-on role ensures safe, compliant maintenance and reliable facility operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 6 qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical or a relevant related technical/engineering discipline, or equivalent technical competence demonstrated through substantial relevant maintenance/engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• 2–4 years’ experience in a maintenance or relevant engineering role within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
• Ability to work safely and effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to procedural compliance and high-quality maintenance documentation.

Responsabilités

• Execute preventative, predictive, corrective and condition-based maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment faults across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation and utility systems within individual competency levels.
• Respond to equipment failures and support the safe and timely return of equipment to service.
• Perform or support calibration and other maintenance interventions as required.
• Support planned shutdowns, outages, major maintenance activities and equipment overhauls.
• Record maintenance interventions and asset history in the CMMS.
• Identify recurring issues and support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering to improve maintenance strategies.
