Job summary

Grifols in Grange, Co. Dublin, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Technician to support aseptic production, cleaning, maintenance, and monitoring of equipment in a GMP environment.

You will work to ensure cGMP compliance, quality, and continuous improvement while contributing to timely manufacturing processes. The role requires 2+ years in pharmaceutical or GMP manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and collaborative problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in a scientific discipline preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Two years of experience in a pharmaceutical, GMP-regulated, or other highly regulated manufacturing environment is required.
• 2+ years' experience in production, manufacturing, or biopharmaceutical setting.
• Knowledge of cGMPs, EU regulations, and industry guidelines is highly preferred.
• Highly motivated, detail oriented with strong prioritisation and time management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal, organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot purification processes within a GMP-regulated aseptic manufacturing environment.
• Adhere to all departmental, company, quality, health & safety, and regulatory procedures, policies, and standards.
• Perform Cleaning-in-Place (CIP), Sterilisation-in-Place (SIP), and manual cleaning activities in accordance with approved procedures.
• Set up, operate, and perform integrity testing of filtration systems and associated filtration processes.
• Prepare process buffers and solutions accurately in line with manufacturing requirements and approved batch documentation.
• Execute process formulation, ultrafiltration, diafiltration, and pasteurisation activities to support production schedules.
• Operate large-scale purification and manufacturing equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures and process requirements.
• Maintain compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements and support a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production targets, quality objectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support training, operational excellence, and compliance activities within the manufacturing department as required.
• Support quality investigations, CAPA activities, and timely closure of quality actions.
