Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Microbiology Analyst for an 8-month fixed-term contract in Ireland. The position is full-time with a 4 days on / 4 days off schedule from 07:00 to 19:00.

You will join a cross-functional team to support Microbiology Quality Control and ensure cGMP compliance. You will perform environmental monitoring in GMP environments, conduct microbiological analyses including bioburden and endotoxin testing, review data, support investigations, and help maintain audit-ready

Qualifications

• Degree in Microbiology or related field with one year in pharma/GMP labs.
• Experience with environmental monitoring (EM) and cGMP principles.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, team collaboration.
• Organisational skills and meticulous documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out environmental monitoring in GMP cleanrooms and manufacturing environments, including viable and non-viable particle monitoring, water and gas system monitoring, and water sampling.
• Perform microbiological analyses such as bioburden, endotoxin, microbial identification and culture-based testing to support client and regulatory requirements.
• Review, trend and interpret data, ensuring results and records comply with GMP and client procedures.
• Assist investigations relating to deviations, identify root causes and contribute to protocol and report preparation.
