Job summary

Eurofins Ireland PSS is seeking a Trainee Environmental Monitoring Analyst to contribute to high-quality microbiology environmental monitoring services in a biopharmaceutical setting. The role requires 11-hour rotating shifts (08:00 – 20:00) biweekly, with responsibilities across sampling, testing, documentation and customer liaison.

Qualifications

• Experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical laboratory environment.
• Strong organisational skills with high accuracy and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities.
• Collaborative team player with positive working relationships.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing workloads in a fast-paced lab.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental monitoring activities in GMP manufacturing areas, including sampling and analysis.
• Prepare, review and approve test results and maintain lab documentation.
• Carry out routine and non-routine laboratory testing and QC checks.
• Participate in training programmes and maintain competence in methods and technologies.
• Provide training and guidance to junior colleagues where qualified.
• Build strong relationships with customers and respond to queries to meet service goals.
