CareerWise Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Galway-based client to cover evening rotation. You will set up and maintain automated vial and syringe filling equipment, ensuring ongoing reliability and GMP compliance across plant utilities.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum certification in electrical or mechanical engineering; combination of education and experience considered.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential.
• Strong conflict management and negotiation abilities.
• Structured decision making and report preparation skills required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and analyze problems.

Aufgaben

• Set up, maintain and fault-find automated vial and syringe filling equipment.
• Maintain equipment and utilities; document work to GMP standards.
• Co-ordinate with external contractors during installations and service visits.
• Manage spare parts, consumables and services to keep schedules compliant.
• Develop and promote a Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategy using FMECA/FMEA tools.
• Create/modify documentation to support maintenance and calibration activities.
• Support safety, quality CAPAs, change management and investigations; resolve electrical/mechanical issues.
• Ensure maintenance procedures comply with cGMP and EHS regulations.
• Be flexible for overtime, shift cover and on-call duties as required.
