Job summary

Jones Engineering in Limerick, Ireland, seeks a Maintenance Team Supervisor (Mechanical & Electrical) to lead a maintenance group in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. You will oversee daily operations, ensure task quality, and manage handovers, timesheets, and escalation processes.

The role requires strong leadership, GMP/compliance knowledge, and CMMS proficiency (SAP/Maximo). You will mentor technicians, plan resources, and drive continuous improvement while upholding ALCOA+ data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline (or equivalent trade qualification) with supervisory experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a maintenance role within GMP-regulated pharma/manufacturing.
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in a multi-shift operation.
• Strong GMP, ALCOA+ understanding and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with CMMS (SAP, Maximo) and electronic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operational ownership and oversight of maintenance tasks to standard.
• Oversee shift handovers and timesheet validation.
• Maintain contact with client maintenance leadership and participate in huddles.
• Conduct 1:1s weekly or bi-weekly.
• Recruitment, onboarding, and resource planning.
• Conduct safety audits and ensure site safety protocols.
• Track attendance and coverage across shifts.
