Job summary

Jones Engineering in Limerick is seeking a Mechanical QA Manager to lead the quality delivery for complex projects and maintain the Mechanical Quality Management System (ISO9001:2015). You will drive a Right First Time ethos and manage a multi-discipline QA team across field, testers, NDT and handover staff.

You will ensure client specifications are met, oversee QA audits, engage with construction teams on snagging and handover documentation, and liaise with clients on project QA deliverables.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of Hygienic Piping Installation essential, including ASME codes.
• Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Piping Systems and associated PIDs essential.
• Knowledge of orbital welding equipment and weld procedures.
• CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent required.
• Further Quality Inspection qualifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Mechanical Quality Management System.
• Lead quality delivery of projects to meet client specifications.
• Develop and approve project quality plans and ITPs.
• Lead QA ethos with training, toolbox talks, and audits.
• Manage Field QA, Test Pack Engineers, NDT Specialists and handover staff.
• Oversee handover documentation and client liaison.
• Review installations for compliance with quality plans and standards.
