Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Ireland is seeking a Maintenance Utilities Supervisor in Cork to lead the utilities technician team, ensure safe operation of site utilities, and maintain GMP-compliant systems across clean and non-clean utilities.

Reporting to the Utilities Manager, you will coordinate maintenance planning, manage contracts, optimise energy use, and coach staff while driving continuous improvement in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Scientific or technical qualification in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & controls, or utilities engineering.
• Maintenance experience within a GMP regulated environment.
• Experience with GMP utilities, clean utilities, HVAC, compressed air, steam, water systems or Central Utilities Plant operations.
• Experience of DeltaV, PLC and SCADA systems.
• Experience of SAP/CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and organise the utilities technician team and contract staff.
• Ensure safe operation of site utilities and compliance with cGMP standards.
• Provide technical maintenance planning and troubleshooting for utilities equipment.
• Develop maintenance procedures and manage contracts with suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement and energy efficiency across utilities systems.
